Renters’ Rebate Program
For renters over the age of 65 receiving Social Security benefits or renters under 65 receiving Disability benefits. Income guidelines vary yearly. Program is administered by Department of Human Services. Contact Human Services for information or to make an appointment to file an application, at 203-783-3253.
Energy Assistance Program
Program is for elderly, disabled and low-income individuals and families to help subsidize heating costs. Income and liquid asset guidelines vary yearly. Program is administered by the Department of Human Services as an intake site for TEAM, Inc., in Derby. Milford residents looking for additional information or to schedule an appointment can call the Department of Human Services at 203-783-3253.
Senior Farmers’ Market Food Voucher Program
The Department of Human Services is a designated distribution site for the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program. This supplemental food program provides vouchers to eligible seniors that may be redeemed at local designated farmers' markets throughout Connecticut, usually July and August.
