The purpose of the Senior GO TO Guide is to provide useful information on a wide variety of topics relevant to seniors. Our goal is to be the first place to which seniors turn to find information on the services and products that they need.
Each edition of the Guide includes articles with information on such important topics as: maintaining good health; crime and fraud prevention; getting the most from your health care professionals; Medicare prescription drug coverage; reverse mortgages; long-term care insurance, and living and care options for the later years.
The Guide also includes detailed information on the services that local communities have for seniors, along with information on services offered by the State of Connecticut and the federal government.
A highlight of the Guide is a comprehensive resource directory filled with information on local companies and professionals that are qualified and ready to serve seniors and their families. The Resource Directory is organized by 32 categories under four main sections: health-related professionals, businesses and services; caregivers and residential facilities; legal, insurance, real estate and other financial professionals; easier, healthier and more enjoyable living and funeral homes and cemeteries.
