Senior Centers
Department “assists those who are 55 and older to be independent and active and to enjoy a great variety of activities.” All Centers serve nutritious hot lunch daily at 11:30 a.m. (Advance sign-up required.) Supportive Services for Families and Caregivers
Contact Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut at 203-786-8533 about such services, including Connecticut activities of National Family Caregiver Support Program and Statewide Respite Care Program.
Transportation Services
Senior Centers provide transportation to and from their activities for members.
Community Action Agency provides door-to-door transportation in wheelchair-equipped vehicle for medical, dental, therapeutic appointments of patients of Hill Health Center. Call: 203-387-7700.
