• Programs focus on: speakers and educational presentations; genealogical research and discussions; income tax assistance (by appointment); recreational and social offerings; blood-pressure screenings.
• Senior Community Café serves meals Mon.-Fri. at noon in Center’s Social Hall. Reservations required at least 24 hours in advance. Requested donation: $2.
Center also accepts in-person applications for Gold Key Cards. Gold Key Card allows residents 62 and older reduced rate admission to school system sporting events, concerts, theater productions and senior-rate
registration for Adult Education courses.

Located in Miller Senior Center, Elderly Outreach Office provides information, referrals, assistance to Hamden seniors, particularly with regard to: housing, Renter’s Rebate Program, Fuel/Energy Assistance Program, homebound visits, Telephone Reassurance Program, ConnPACE, various emergency situations.

dietary services; pastoral care; family counseling.
